A 40-day feeding trial was conducted to investigate the effect of dietary microalgae Oedocladium sp. or Tribonema ultriculosum supplementation on growth performance, fillet fatty acid composition, skin pigmentation, and immune response yellow catfish Pelteobagrus fulvidraco. Two hundred seventy experimental fish (51.19 ± 1.17 g) were distributed among nine net cages (2 × 2 m3) in a randomized design fed diets containing 0% (control), 4% meal (Oedocladium), 5% T. utriculosum (Tribonema) apparent satiation twice day. After trial, hypoxic stress test evaluate microalgal response. Compared control, did not affect performance. Dietary significantly increased contents palmitoleic by 100.44% eicosapentaenoic 12.51%, while diet ventral lutein content 61.6%. In addition, plasma total superoxide dismutase activity (before stress) complement component 3 (after stress). The addition also immunoglobulin M regardless stress.
